COURSE DETAILS:

Our Fire Warden Chief Warden and Fire Extinguisher course is designed to equip participants with the leadership skills required to act either the role of Fire Warden or Chief Warden during a workplace fire event or other incident. It covers how to make decisions about people's safety during a workplace emergency and trains participants in how to give instructions for responding to the emergency incident. Trainees will become suitably versed in the safe use of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets. This course includes both a theory and a practical component to ensure that successful participants can safely and appropriately respond to a range of workplace emergencies.

Firefighting tactics
Practical sessions:
- Using a fire extinguisher, fire hose reel and fire blanket, participants will gain hands-on practical experience with fire-fighting equipment. They will also be instructed in correct firefighting tactics and safety procedures.
