Course Duration/Schedule
This course is a blended offering of face-to-face and online learning via an e-Learning course. The length of your course is up to you, the more time you dedicate to the online learning component, the faster you can work through the content and assessment tasks.

Entry requirements

Each participant is required to:

  • Complete a mandatory pre-course survey. Please ensure that you complete this survey immediately upon receiving this booking confirmation and please note the survey must be completed by the course participant themselves. Your survey will come as a separate email to your booking confirmation.
  • Demonstrate that you have skills and vocational experience in the field in which you wish to teach. For example, to teach 'business' you will need a business qualification (to at least the level you wish to teach), along with several years of relevant experience working in business. To teach 'Hairdressing' you will need a qualification in hairdressing (to at least the level you wish to teach), along with several years of relevant experience working as a hairdresser. You will be requested to upload these documents to the online learning platform

Complete a set of mandatory items via the online learning platform to ensure you are a suitable candidate for this course. This will include:

  • Uploading the evidence of your vocational competency to demonstrate that you have met the entry requirements of the qualification
  • Completing the course guide, which includes reviewing and accepting relevant Pinnacle Safety and Training academic policies
  • Completing the LLND (language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy) screening tools to an acceptable level

The above prerequisites and learning activities must be completed and provided no later than two business days prior to the course date, in order for you to get access to your course assessment modules, and avoid you wasting your time during the course.
