COURSE DETAILS:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a qualification which is highly valued by many employers and organisations. By obtaining this qualification you will develop the competencies necessary to perform the duties of a workplace and vocational trainer and assessor. Achievement of this qualification or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO).

Course Duration/Schedule
This course is a blended offering of face-to-face and distance education via an e-Learning course. The length of your course is up to you, the more time you dedicate to the distance based learning component, the faster you can work through the content and assessment tasks.

Mandatory Pre-Requisites

Each participant is required to:

  • Complete a mandatory pre-course survey. Please ensure that you complete this survey immediately upon receiving this booking confirmation and please note the survey must be completed by the course participant themselves. To access the survey please click this link.
  • Demonstrate that you have skills and vocational experience in the field in which you wish to teach. e.g. to teach 'hairdressing' you will need a qualification in hairdressing (to at least the level you wish to teach), or be able to demonstrate via resume and professional references that you have relevant experience working as a hairdresser.
 
Pre-Course Learning Activities
  • Upon enrolment you will be provided with access to your online learning course
  • There is pre-reading and assessment for you to complete before attending face-to-face training.
  • You will be able to engage with other learners, have discussions, and ask questions.

The above prerequisites and learning activities must be completed and provided no later than two business days prior to the course date, in order for you to get access to your course assessment modules, and avoid you wasting your time during the course.
