Our online TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills training course is designed to teach the skills and knowledge a vocational trainer or assessor needs in order to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) of a learner group in a training or work environment. The course also provides students with the knowledge of how to use resources and strategies to meet the needs of the learner group.

This unit forms a part of the upgrade pathway from the older Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) to the new Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).

The key areas covered by this course include:

  • Analysis of LLN requirements
  • Selecting and using resources and strategies to address LLN skill requirements
  • Using specialist LLN support where required
  • Evaluating effectiveness of learning support and assessment strategies in addressing LLN requirements
