The Diploma of Work Health and Safety is designed for individuals progressing from operational WHS roles into senior advisory or leadership positions. This nationally recognised qualification applies to supervisors and managers who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.
This qualification is suited to individuals who have completed the Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, or who have substantial practical experience in WHS, and are seeking to expand their capability in strategic risk management, systems design, and organisational influence.
Course Duration/Schedule
This course is one of our most popular programs with high student support. Students complete more assessments in class, get the most out of their trainers' experience and support, and gain from peer-to-peer interactions.
During this course your trainer will cover the key areas of work undertaken by a Work Health and Safety Officer or Advisor. A mixed course delivery of written and practical sessions is implemented to ensure students obtain a complete qualification readying them for their role within an organisation.
Learning outcomes
Students who are deemed competent will receive a Qualification Certificate and a record of results, which is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. The Qualification is issued by Pinnacle Safety and Training (RTO 40496).
